I’ve not blogged, here in ages, sorry. I’ve been blogging on my Lilian’s Tree and have started a challenge. The challenge is April A – Z. You blog every day BUT Sunday and the blog has to be about something, with that day’s letter. Today being April 6 it is the letter E. It is a challenge to come up with something fresh, but that is the idea. I’m stuck on the letter J, O, X and Y. Any suggestions welcome.
I’m also doing a course through Futurelearn, at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. It is basic genealogy and it is good to be reminded of things, especially with modern technology. This is week three, of six.
I did a writing course through the University of Tasmania, in December/January. That too was interesting as our weekly stories could only be 250 words. You learnt to be very concise in what you wanted to say. You stayed focused on the topic. It was a great course.
I’m still studying with the National Institute of Genealogical Studies, only six subjects to go!
Bye for now,
Lilian.
