To give it its full title, The 14th Australasian Congress on Genealogy and Heraldry. The theme, Generations meeting across time.
I spent two days at congress and had a wonderful time. The only thing I missed was the first keynote address on Friday morning, giving myself a 9.45am start, rather than an 8.30am one. My hotel was 1.2k from the convention centre and as I had ‘played’ Tetris, parking the car, I walked each day. As I spent the best part of each day in conference rooms, the walk was good.
I’m going to be lazy here and say if you want to know all about my time away, please go to http://researchbylily.blogspot.com as I have done several blogs on the topic.
The next Congress will be in Sydney in 2018, with a theme, Bridging the Past & Future. Have a look at www.congress2018.org.au
Bye for now,
Lilian
