I subscribe to the English magazine, Family Tree and the November issue has several really interesting article, that I thought I’d share.
The first is by Chris Paton, Get to Grips with FamilySearch. I know that I ‘go on’ about this site but you really should have a look. Chris give good advice on how to search, use the Wiki and the IGI. FamilySearch is adding more information, all the time and the best bit is it is FREE!
The next article is by Tony Bandy, Teach yourself old script … online. Giving information about websites, digital books and apps, this is useful for deciphering those hard to read documents, we discover.
Other articles are about costal living, family history groups and readers stories. A good magazine that is well worth the cost.
I’ve put Research by Lily on Facebook. Going to try and see how it goes.
