I have 64 people on my Master List for the cemetery, 39 of which I have done my research on. I’m thinking of adding another 20 names to the list, as they fall in the public era, except for newspapers.
I have expanded information on some of the 39, looked at the priests, undertakers and doctors mentioned on the death certificates, to see what I could find. Surprisingly not a lot. I have a query into the Catholic Dioceses, in Canberra about the priests, but think a trip to Family History ACT, in January gave me some answers, along with the reply from the Dioceses.
I have also been to the State Library of New South Wales and found death and funeral notices of some of the remaining people, so will add them to the main list.
The list of 39, I hope to publish on the Mummell Cemetery Blog, will have limited information, with the hope that people will contact me for further information.
The One-Place Study is still very much a work in progress and I’m pleased with the progress I am making.
